What students can practise
From Rx to shipped
Log a case from a prescription, assign it to a technician, move it through production steps and record the shipment.
Both sides of a case
One student sends a case through the doctor portal as the dentist; another receives it in the lab and works it through to delivery.
The business side
Price cases from a fee schedule, raise invoices, send monthly statements and spot the cases that are running late.
Who can apply
Dental laboratory technology and dental technician programs at schools, colleges and training centres. Apply as an instructor or program director, from your school email address.
Ground rules
- Use it for teaching and practice cases only. Please don't enter real patient records: SimpleLabOS does not currently offer a BAA.
- It isn't for commercial lab work. If your program also runs a production lab for paying clients, talk to us about a regular plan.
- Once each school year we'll email you to confirm you're still teaching with it.

Get your education code
We reply with a code that makes the Pro plan free for your program.

Sign up as usual
Create your lab account and enter the code at checkout. You'll be asked for a card, but with the code it is never charged.
Teach the software side of the lab
Email us with your school and program name, and we'll get you set up.
